Playing in the sand in your fancy dress

The wind came in from the west. So there were horseflies. Lots of them. And they were hungry. So we swatted and we sprayed and did our best to still have an amazing experience. But THIS is what she will remember. That time when Daddy danced with her at the beach and when she got to play in the water and sand in her fancy dress.

 

Life is what you make it. And it’s the same for a family portrait session. Grab the sand and ride the waves and dance around in your fancy dress.

 

Even when there are horseflies trying to ruin your day. Swat them and keep playing in the sand.

FIRST BIRTHDAY PORTRAITS // Angelsea Urban

It’s no secret that I love photographing children, and little Sophia is one of the reasons why that is true. Photographing both her newborn pictures and her first birthday portraits was such a privilege and it’s exciting to be able to watch these babies grow.

Portraits should be in your hand. To touch and feel and pass around in a tangible way. As more and more people embrace the tangible portrait experience, it’s so important to me that client’s be able to touch and feel handcrafted items that will be passed down for generations. Digital products are fun, for now. And we love to have our family portraits on our phones and spread through social media to share with those who we don’t get to see daily. But for family in the years to come, it’s a wonderful thing to cherish the tangible items that your grandchildren will one day hold.

From the handcrafted chapter box to the hand made linen envelopes, and from the hand dyed ribbon to the hand bound linen journals, each item has been touched by an artisan that cares for their products and it’s representation as much as I care for the photographs that will be showcased through them. 2015 TOOLBOX PRODUCT LINE // Angelsea Urban

After it’s initial launch almost 2 years ago, I am so excited to announce that the Photographer’s Business Toolbox has been expanded for 2015!

Over these past 2 years working with both photographers and creative entreprenuars I have learned that most business owners need a lot more than just an organized space to crunch their numbers, but more tools to help organize LIFE and help to manage the dreaded work/life/family balance. With that feedback, I have designed new products that will fill some of these most requested features!

For 2015, the new line will offer products for both financial management and business organization, but also personal budgeting, home management, and general organizational tools for both business and personal management.

New products will be available for the fall release on September 15th!
